One of the keys to our Group’s success is continuous development and a strong focus on efficiency. We are proud that our employees often bring forward ideas that further strengthen this progress. A great example is the team formed by Katalin Gombkötő-Horváth, István Gombkötő, and Péter Hegyi, who, in cooperation with our external partner Enterprise Group, launched a computer simulation project.

Using the software, we modeled the cutting and packaging processes of the slaughterhouse with the aim of defining the optimal level of our production planning. By applying Digital Twins technology, the virtual model allows us to analyze and test workflows in real time, without the need to stop production lines or adjust employees’ work schedules. The program is even capable of simulating a full day of production, risk-free, while adapting to changing conditions.

This unique project helps us reach the optimal level of production efficiency and provides flexible, data-driven adaptability at the slaughterhouse. The project is now approaching its conclusion, and based on the results, we will rethink our processes to achieve the most efficient outcomes. Our plan is to extend these digitally tested solutions to other activities across the Group by connecting the physical and digital worlds.
